Leo Laporte Well the N900 ain't no iPhone. It's not even a Droid. Nice screen and camera but awkward interface and poor integration with the Google.

Leo interview starts 15 minutes into the podcast. 3d movies are such as gimmick. How about the plot and good acting?

hey siouxmoux why cant we have both I have to agree that most of the 3d movies I have seen at the theaters are lacking something for instance beowolf the 3d was awesome and yet the plot was weak but please remember they only have so much money to make the movie if there going to use the best computers to make the movie then they wont have the money to buy the best script..... and the computer was a gimmick at one time.

Leo Laporte What's TWiT worth to you?

twit.tv
When I first started doing podcasts under the TWiT banner it was little more than a hobby. How that hobby has grown, from two audio-only shows in April 2005 (The Tech Guy radio show and "this WEEK in TECH") to over 15 shows plus 40 hours a week of live video streaming. ...

Leo Laporte It's World AIDS Day. Starbucks is donating a nickel for every latte to Project Red. http://joinred.com/Home.aspx. That's all the incentive I need.

seconded, Justin.
I hate when companies do this. If they want to donate to a cause, THEN DONATE TO IT! Don't pull this 'for every widget you buy we'll donate a penny to X cause..." I especially hate the 'mail in yogurt labels' campaign.
I guess Starbucks board of directors can use actions like this to fool themselves into thinking they are 'socially conscious' and it will make up for their war profiteering.

Chris I do not agree with U although I do understand ur frustration towards the company (using a cause to increase sales) and yet I have to say it is probably a better way than those company's that have a huge one of a kind sale every week and donate nothing
