My wife and I attended the Family Life, weekend to remember. What an awesome weekend, it made me truly realize how special my wife is and that she is a gift from God.

I remember a comment a while back about how we should let EVERYTHING leap out at us...from the green grass, to the blue sky, to the smell of fresh food baking in the air, to the feel of a warm hug of a child. Don't let the littlest thing by, that might be the thing that make the biggest difference!

Is anybody up for a mini-mission trip to Brookings, SD on Thanksgiving Day? There's a group of "tired-of-bellying-up-to-the-table-and-being-miserable" people who are going to be reaching out to international students who are far away from home and to others who have no one to share Thanksgiving Day with. We are providi...ng a traditional T-Day meal at noon at the Brookings Wesleyan Church on 1420 Orchard Drive in Brookings. I like apple sause cinnimon ornaments. You take a can of apple sause and a jar of cinnimon and mix together. Roll out like sugar cookie dough and cut out shapes with cookie cutter. Lay them out on a rack to dry turning over twice a day until dry. Make sure you punch a hole for a ribbon hanger before drying. Makes your house smell wonderful.

Ted Rosen I pray that they keep the Life Light Concert in the Sioux Falls area, and not in Mithchel, lor Yankton,to bad that they couldn't find a nice spot in Lincoln or Turner Counties. Where ever it is I hope that it is close.

I'm looking forward to going up to the cities for Operation Christmas Child. My fianc... Read Moreé's family goes up there during Thanksgiving every year and last year was my first year. It is a wonderful experience at the distribution center to see all those shoe boxes that are going over seas and all around the world. And this year, my family has decided to join us this year. I am so excited to see two families that are going to be joining soon & going on a trip to go help out others over Thanksgiving vacation. On Thanksgiving day, we try to find a restaurant that is open and we will have a big family meal. :)
