1. Area(s) of expertise/Hobbies:
Quilting, International Adoption, old movies and tv shows, Depressionware. Mostly a generalist – know a little about a lot and what I don’t know I can figure out where to go or who to go to for more info. I use Yahoo! email, LibraryThing, Delicious, ...Facebook, and some eBay.

2. Reading Interests
All over the map on this one. Enjoy mysteries, cozies, biographies, home decorating, organizing/storage, scrapbooking, card-making, cookery, suspense, cats, sci-fi. Favorite authors include Ellery Queen, Bob Schieffer, Rex Stout; quilt books published by That Patchwork Place.

I also follow these series: Aunt Dimity (by Nancy Atherton), Bishop/FBI Special Crimes Unit (by Kay Hooper), The Cat Who... (by Lilian Jackson Braun), Charlotte Adams (by Mary Jane Maffini), Kinsey Millhone (by Sue Grafton), Mrs. Murphy (by Rita Mae Brown), The Psychic Eye (by Victoria Laurie), Stephanie Plum (by Janet Evanovich), and Turing Hopper (by Donna Andrews).

3. Home library and special things you do for the system:
I am a lifelong Lincoln resident, and work as a librarian at Bennett Martin Public Library in the reference dept.I give library tours, answer reference questions, check-in periodicals and approve payments, check-in and check-out materials to the public, work in youth services, give book talks, review books, and set up book displays.
