In the Lincoln bicentennial year, Kunhardt has just completed a third book on Lincoln, Lincoln, Life-Size (Fall 2009). Other works include: Lincoln: An Illustrated Biography (1992), P.T. Barnum: America's Greatest Showman (1995), The American President (2000), and Looking For Lincoln (2008), the companion volume of PBS...'s Special by the same name. He also has more than fifteen documentaries and documentary series to his credit, including ABC's "Lincoln" (1992); Discovery's "Insanity Files" (1994); and PBS's "American President" (2000), "Echoes from the White House" (2001), "Freedom: A History of US" (2003), and "Mandate: The President and The People" (2005).

I took my 2 boys 10 yrs and 14yrs (they wanted to go) to the Museum and we were just in awe of all of the history that it holds. As we walked through, it was just amazing how much the Lincoln family went through during the War and how President Lincoln was able to accomplish what he did durring a horrible time. He tr...uly was a great man. I have been reading about the Civil War for many years but this place puts it in such a perspective that I can't even put it into words. Andrew Werling I visited the museum in June 2008. Even though I was initially disappointed that I arrived at the museum during a time that the Gettysburg Address was in storage, I understood the reasons (document preservation) and was (and am) grateful for it. The visit itself was an experience that marked me in a very deep way, and gives me energy for my academic studies in history.

Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library & Museum ENTERTAINMENT this Thursday in the Museum Plaza: Special guests "Somebody's Singing" Vocal Octet from the Czech Republic will perform at 1:00p.m. This award-winning vocal octet established in 2002 is on an American tour in conjunction with the Czech Symphony Project of St. Louis. The director is Mr. Tomas Krejca, a recent grad of the Charles' University Academy of music in Prague.

Me and my dad will be visiting this weekend!! I went through the Museum in March and I was awestruck! President Lincoln has been my hero since I've been a little boy. Walking into the Museum I was complete overwhelmed with emotion!! It took about 15 minutes to compose myself!! Not only is Abraham Lincoln our Great...est President, but he was also a Great Man!! I don't have the words to describe how beautiful this museum has been made to Honor this Great Man & President. Thank you for this gift not only to the President, but to THE PEOPLE!
