The underwater camera is a must! Invest in the digital camera waterproof case and case weight (Canon Powershot ) There is many opportunities for good shots and short movies and it's good for the beach too. I had brought a 2mm full wetsuit with neoprene socks. It allowed me to stay in the water longer. As many mentioned, many camera cards but also ... Read Moreextra batteries you want to have on the field with you. A good camera bag (like a think tank photo beltpack), a 70-300 mm and a wide angle. If you have a laptop, bring it along with a memory stick (good for sharing pic). We found it was useful. Don't bring 600 pages book. You won't have time to read while on the ship. Good walking shoes, hat with large brim and lipbalm with sunscreen. Another must is your own mask and tuba. finally, the identification card they sell at the boutique on board is very useful when you want to identify the animal on your pic. Have fun! It was even better we had expected.

Holly Just spent a week on the Endeavor in the Galapagos. Amazing week. On our very first excursion, 2 hours after boarding, we witnessed the birth of a sea lion on North Seymour Island. How could it get better? It did. Each day, better than the last. Thank you for a truly outstanding week!
