    Kim Roth I love it! I had lasik on Feb 11, 2010. My mom & sister had it previously done by Dr. Lipstock so I did not want to go anywhere else for it. I got the blended vision procedure and I am so happy I did. I am so thankful I made the decision to do this :)

          • Lipstock LASIK & Cataract Center Alex: Lasik gives a faster recovery (very clear usually the next day) and PRK is a bit slower (usually functional vision by 4 days although not crystal clear yet); PRK is safer for some (eg. thin corneas); in the end the visual results are the same for lasik and prk. Both techniques use the same laser to change the shape of the cornea; Lasik does this under a protective flap and prk does it right on the surface of the cornea. If one is a candidate for either PRK or Lasik usually Lasik is chosen for its convenience. K. Lipstock
