... Lesson rate is $20 per half hour - paid by the month, at the beginning of each month. Lessons are taken once weekly on a designated day and time. Monthly rates are based on the number of lessons in the month. Months with 4 lessons are $80, and months with 5 lessons are $100 (this occurs up to 4 times a year). A $10.00 late fee is applicable for lessons not paid by the second week of the month.

2) DEPOSIT
A $40.00 deposit is required prior to the first lesson, and will be credited as partial payment for student's last month of lessons. DEPOSIT WILL ONLY BE CREDITED WITH A ONE MONTH NOTICE OF CANCELLATION. DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) ABSENCE POLICY
Students are allowed 7 excused absences per year. Instructor MUST BE NOTIFIED BEFORE SHOWING UP to the resident. If instructor comes to the home, YOU WILL BE CHARGED. You will be charged for all absences after the 7 excused except in the case of a hospital emergency or death.

LLL's schedule is based on a 52 week year. We operate year round holding lessons on many school/bank holidays. LLL is closed: July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Individual instructors reserve the right to take additional holidays off.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6) CANCELLATION
When lessons are cancelled a courteous one-month notice is appreciated so student’s final lessons can be prepared to tie-up any lose ends.

Mission
"Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime."

We strive not only to teach our students how to play the songs they love, but to give them an appreciation of the theory and the methods behind the music they are learning to play.

The "Lowder Music Method" is to teach each student the language of music. By applying the philosophy of language to music students excel much quicker in their knowledge of what they are playing rather than simply duplicating what they see. New students are like babies learning to communicate. Once fluent in this or any language, you begin to read, write, and understand all forms of that language.
