Sauvignon Blanc: Sauvignon Blanc originated in the Loire Valley and wines like Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé are “hors mode” – timeless examples of the varietal.
Chenin Blanc: The Loire valley is the definitive region for this versatile grape. Vouvray, Savennieres, Montlouis and other appellations range from dry to sweet, but are always complex and sophisticated.
Cabernet Franc: Chinon, Bourgeuil and Saumur produce pure expressions of the grape and of the diverse terroir of the Loire Valley.
