IBM Lotus Technical Information and Education Community
Who is the Lotus Technical Information and Education Community?
The Lotus Technical Information and Education community is comprised of IBM, business partner, and customer subject matter experts who use product wikis, published articles, white papers, community blogs and the latest in social media to build and share high quality technical content.
Why you should care
Below are just some of the ways community membership will benefit you:
- Gain technical knowledge - find the information you need and connect with experts
- Build business relationships - connect with people who share the same interests/expertise; uncover potential business opportunities
- Receive recognition and visibility - be recognized for your contributions via links to your blog from wiki articles, profile information, spotlight articles, and more
- Stay up-to-date - receive the latest technical information news, and attend community meetings to learn about new ways to create, deliver and use technical content
- Influence the direction of technical content development and delivery - see prototypes and innovative new solutions while they're being developed
How to join the community
We've established our primary community space in Lotus Greenhouse. To join the community:
- Go to https://greenhouse.lotus.com, and click "Join now!" Complete the required fields and submit.
- Click the link in the registration email, complete the fields on both pages, then click "Take me into Lotus Greenhouse."
- Go to the Lotus Technical Information and Education community in Lotus Connections, and click "Join community."
How to participate
Here are some ways you can participate and contribute to the community:
- Contribute what you know to our product wikis. You can write a new article, edit an existing article, create a stub article for others to write, and provide comments about wiki content.
- Respond to technical forum posts
- Contribute a Notes/Domino application on OpenNTF.org
- Help publicize technical content (via blogs or Twitter) and/or link to our wikis from your blog
- Encourage others to share their knowledge and participate in the community!
- Sign up for the developerWorks Author Achievement Recognition program
- Become a fan on Facebook and follow us on Twitter
- Participate in feedback roundtables, one-on-one discussions, and usability studies
- Suggest an idea for improving our product doc or education material on IdeaJam
When we meet
We have monthly community meetings on the 4th Tuesday of every month. Invitations are sent to all members of the Lotus Technical Information and Education community.
