I love coffee because... Does your coffee have a birthday? Ours do! Good Dog Coffee Micro Roasters now provides you with a “birthday” date in every bag of our custom-roasted coffees. Yes, each and every bag of coffee will have a Roasting Date. This is the date when our master roaster actually roasted and bagged you coffee. In fact, this date will be hand-written and initialized by our roast master. www.GoodDogCoffee.com

I delivered the load at Paramount Coffee in Lansing Michigan. While their crew off-loaded the seemingly never ending bags of beans I had the ... Read Morepleasure of watching as bags of raw coffee beans were loaded in measured blends in to hoppers that fed the roasters. The roasters were close by and the smell was heavenly. I stood next to a 10 pound keg of raw Jamacian Blue beans. Blue is said to be the best coffee in the world and is very expensive. I've had it and for me that jury is out. God, I would have loved to be given a bag of rich Columbian beans but it was not to be (of course). As a footnote, friends of ours from Brazil used to put their 'secret blend' of beans together and gift them to us. They told us to roast them using a hot air popcorn popper. We did - it worked well!
