I'm personally unsure of the "self-publishing" feature you feature on your website. Is it get one book and then pay the publishing fee (I think about $10 per copy, assuming your not selling it yet?) Could you please tell me a little bit more help? Thanks, Matthew.
p.s: I was only planning on making 2-3 pristine copies of my manuscript.

Did you sign up for the Expanded Distribution package?

Expanded Distribution is NOT all that hot. Better of with Lightning Source as Lulu does not have a mass market with LS/Ingram

Your "Expanded Reach" program needs ALOT of developing. Another service I paid for, to find out 6 monts later I am ONLY listed on 33 sites. 19 of which are Amazon, 2 are Abebooks, 1 is B&N. A total of 17 UNIQUE sites. For frog sake, an author would be better of dealing with LS themselves. At least with LS/Ingram you GET the distribution to over 50,000 UNIQUE retailers! BTW: STILL WAITING ON REFUND FOR A SERVICE YOU NEVER PROVIDED BACK IN JUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their support, when it works, is fine, but it can be EXTREMELY slow and doesn't always address the problems as raised. The quality of the product I have received is excellent, must say. This COULD be the best company of its type, but they really must sort out their support - 24/7 live support is a MUST.

My wife received a notice about a promo offer up to $1000 off her next bulk printing. I entered the promo code FRANKLIN for the 100 copies I ordered for my wife. Every time I selected the "update cart" button or the "proceed to checkout" button, the promo code would disappear and the $100 would not deduct from the price of the order.

I'm happy to report that by Monday morning, Lulu did in fact contact my wife that they had credited her account with the $100 promo discount. The credit cleared the bank; and all is well. There were no binding problems, no printing errors (other than a few misspelled words on our part) and no other challenges. It was a smooth process for us. I'd recommend Lulu to other writers who wish to self-publish.
