Alice Hmmm .. I was promised a DVD due to non-functional special offer, but no DVD ... just got back from Luxor (11/19-22), and wasn't happy with the room - 6047 (noise, couldn't sleep well). Should I reconsider the hotel choice for our future trip? This was our 7th trip to Vegas and always in Luxor ... but this time, no happy, no happy.
Elsie I got back home yesterday my daughter had a vegas wedding, I stayed at the Luxor for the first time and it was great. I'll be back. :)
Michelle Layland Cooper My husband and I stayed at the Luxor for the 1st time...just got home yesterday. I have to say I was really disappointed in the Pyramid Deluxe Room on the 9th Floor - looked nothing like the picture which was really why we booked the room. Never really felt like the air conditioner worked - stayed humid and moist - e...ven after being on full blast. I am also extremely disappointed in being attacked about a time share when we first were walking in with our luggage. The salesman rushed us over to the desk and made it seem as though he was going to get us "checked in" faster and really it was a bait and switch to get us to pay $50 CASH to go a watch a time share in return for show tickets - which we bought obviously overpriced from ticketmaster. My husband and I love Las Vegas and go at least twice a year - but will never stay at the Luxor.
