I really love this show, but I really wish y'all would re-run it at least once over the weekend. Unless you're working or have kids who play hs football, who's near a radio at that time on Friday night? I never am.

I completely agree with Michael Anthony's comment. I, too, turn off MPB the second either version of 'The Story' comes on. I'm truly dismayed that you would drop 'Fresh Air' from the schedule. You can forget a pledge until Terry Gross is back on MPB.

Lucian, talk to the Gov about cutting funds...or talk to Terry about how much she charges for her show. The price tag of Fresh Air makes that an easy decision. Same thing applies to 'Tell Me More.' Not to mention Terry does about 5 new shows a month these days. Don't take your 'Fresh Air' anger out on 'The Story' either. When you do, you're missing one of the 3 or 4 best shows on Public Radio.

Yes, bring back "Fresh Air"! "The Story" is fine, but I don't need to hear it twice a day, nor do I need to hear the local shows twice a day!

I no longer live in MS... But I still listen to Public Radio all the time and I think that "The Story" is always really depressing. But, that being said, I think MPB is terrific. I miss you crazy kids, and your crazy drive times.
