Cool story. 1st 4000 model tractor made by Deere (1969 model, SN# 211422) is up for sale on Ebay. Auction ends Nov. 18th. Tractor owned last 15 years by a farmer from central Kentucky. Sold on northeast North Dakota farm retirement auction yesterday (Nov. 4th), a 2008 JD 9530 4WD tractor with 1,024 hours: $203,000. Strong sale prices across the board on all equipment, all equipment in beautiful shape. Auctioneer told me the Canadian buyers really made the sale. So if you're selling equipment.....get ...the word out up north!
