Maher Zain I had a great time at the RIS convention I had the great fortune of being invited to perform at the Reviving the Islamic Spirit Convention in Canada, and meeting great scholars and thinkers like sh. Bin Bayya, Dr. Tariq Ramadan, Imam Hamza Yusuf, Dr. Tariq Suwaidan, Imam Zaid Shaker, and great artists like Yusuf Islam ...and Isam Bachiri of Outlandish. I also got to perform and share my songs with 15,000 Canadian Muslims. What more can I ask for? I am truly blessed! :-) I'd like to thank the organizers for doing such an amazing job, may Allah bless them and reward them, Amin..

My prayers and thoughts are with those who lost everything they had in Haiti. Islamic Relief is launching a $1M campaign for Haiti. Details will be published within the hour on their website. IR is a great organization that is credible and is a partner of the UN in various Aid relief efforts.
