It's been a busy weekend for me thus far. I spent some time the other day creating more handmade magnets. There's still plenty more that I'd like to make, so my Etsy store is going to gradually fill up with them...

I'm going to begin creating handmade glass magnets of my artwork. Each magnet includes a glass stone with a print of my work affixed to it with a plastic backing and a powerful magnet. The first batch has already been listed in my Etsy shop, so stop on by to check it out, meganacoyle.etsy.com

And it's finished! I have a couple more portrait pieces that I'm going to work on before shifting gears and paying more attention to the work for my animal portraiture solo exhibition--so expect a lot more animal portraits in the future."Snorkeling"Collage on paper24"x18"

I hope everyone had a happy Halloween!I'm going to begin working on a series of mini winter collages before winter comes round. Here's the first one in the series:"When Penguins Find Love"Collage on mat board7"x5"

Whew, it's been a busy week. Working away on collages--commissions and work for one of my solo exhibitions next year. I'm also working on preparations for packaging for handmade magnets that I'm going to add to my Etsy shop soon...

I hope everyone has had a great weekend! It's been pretty dreary here, although today is a beautiful autumn day thus far.I was pretty good about working on my studio art this weekend. This little owl guy is part of my mini autumn collage series."Owl"Collage on mat board7"x5"

Here's my latest piece for my Halloween/autumn mini collage series:"Black Cat"Collage on mat board7"x5"

A few weeks ago, I worked on a commissioned portrait. Since the commissioned piece was being given to someone as a birthday gift, I decided to wait until his birthday passed to post an image of the piece online.I actually had two gos at completing this piece...

Yesterday I gallery-sat at the Del Ray Artisans for their "The Arts Build Communities" exhibition...
