Meriter Health Services This weekend was the first annual Gingerbread Casas for CASA event at Hilldale Mall in Madison. See photos, in our "Meriter in the Community" album, of the world's tallest gingerbread man and teams working on gingerbread houses during Saturday's event.
For over 110 years, Meriter has been an important partner in the health of the Madison community as well as throughout Dane County and surrounding counties. Meriter Health Services Thousands of hunters will hit the woods for gun deer season starting on Nov. 21 and the Dane County Sherriff's Department is teaming up with local hunters to make sure the upcoming season is safe. Meriter supports Wisconsin Family Ties' annual conference, Children Come First. The conference, held on November 16 and 17 at the Kalahari Resort, is designed for anyone caring for, working with or interested in the well-being of children with mental, emotional or behavioral disorders and their families.
Dr. David Skri...pka, medical director of Meriter's Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital, will present two workshops, "Overview of Psychiatric Medications and Target Symptoms in Children" and "Managing School Refusal: The Quiet Emergency". Meriter will also provide information about its Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Program, NewStart Program for adolescents with substance use disorders, and the SANE Program for sexual assault victims.

Staff from Meriter Hospital will be on hand again this year at the Dane County Hunters Sight In to “Take Aim on Heart Health.” Every year, an unknown number of hunters never make it back home because their hearts suffer problems brought on by the strenuous exercise and dramatic bursts of activity that hunting can bring....
Meriter staff will provide health screenings in an effort to reduce the number of health related deaths during hunting season. They will also provide general information on heart health and warning signs, along with some prizes for hunters that participate.Więcej...

3rd Annual Thanksgiving on the Mayflower is hitting the high seas of Madison this year in a very big way at Meriter Home Health located off the Beltline. The goal is to fill the truck with 20,000 lbs of food. All donations will support local area food pantries.
Donations will be accepted from November 9th-13th. The WOL...X staff and crew will be set-up Monday-Thursday: 6am until 7pm and Friday: 6am until noon.

Join the holiday fun and support Madison-area children on Saturday, November 21, during the first annual Gingerbread Casas for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) event at Hilldale Mall.
Local companies are invited to participate in a Gingerbread house decorating competition in stations located down the middle of t...he mall hallways. Families visiting the mall will be encouraged to vote for their favorite house and decorate their own Gingerbread cookies in the Spectrum brands Gingerbread Cookie Factory.
Local celebrities will judge the entries and awards will be presented during a late afternoon reception. Meriter is proud to be an Award sponsor for this event.
The event will be capped off by the unveiling of the World’s Tallest Gingerbread Man at 26ft Tall!
The Gingerbread Houses and the World’s Tallest Gingerbread Man will be displayed in the mall throughout the end of December for the holidays.
