Merrigong Theatre Co The first play reading of 4 Plays About Wollongong proved to be a fascinating insight into the development process. The Illawarra Mercury and several Merrigong Whole Shebang subscribers listened as the four actors read through the play for the first time. Two of the playwrights, Simon Luckhurst and Mary Rachel Brown, w...ere also in attendance. Director Anne-Louise Rentell is currently locked away in rehearsal with the cast, and says they're "...rocking along, with the cast getting to grips with up to 6 characters each across the four plays. Hard work but a lot of fun!"
