Mesut Kurtis I was blessed to be involved in the making of the world's first Islamic operetta (musical) on the life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Filmed in Cairo in November 2009, the operetta brought together some of the leading Nasheed artists including Nazeel Azami, Abdel Qader Qawza', Humood Alkhudher, Fahad Al-Kubaisy and many o...ther wonderful artists and is set to be an instant hit across the Arab world. The idea was conceived by Dr. Buthinah Ibraheem (wife of Dr. Tariq Swaidan) and involved tremendous planning and effort. The final version is scheduled to be aired across satellite from early 2010
