I attempted to call my two Maryland Senators regarding the 'Pelosi Bill', their voice mail boxes were FULL and unable to accept new messages. I sent them emails and faxes instead. I wonder if their fax machines have enough paper in them to keep up with their constituents' concerns.

being that I live here on the Space Coast and our livelihood and that of everyone's livelihoods depend on the space program...I find it concerning that although the President was in FL he did not find it important to be at the Space Center for an historic launch (of course it didn't happen due to weather but still I think it's a reasonable question). The White House signaled Sunday that President Obama would postpone any decision on sending more troops to Afghanistan until the disputed election there had been settled and resulted in a government that could work with the United States.

umm ok, so how does this thinking affect our present troop commitment? Aren't we already "working" with this government?
