Mizzou Memorial Union was originally dedicated to the MU men who lost their lives serving their country in World War I. As part of a campaign that began in 1921, both it and Memorial Stadium were constructed in the following years. The union now serves as a memorial to all MU men and women who have served in the armed forces throughout the years. Photo from the 1927 Savitar, page 154.
