Just when you thought the "Moneyball" imbroglio was over comes news of yet another piece on the matter, this one apparently from the pages of Vanity Fair. Will it be a typical, sycophantic, dirt-drudging ...

Ty Alper Michael Lewis was asst coach of my daughter's softball team - the "Moneyballers" - we have "Moneyballer" shirts leftover in all sizes. Proceeds benefit Albany-Berkeley Girls Softball League. $20 each. Email 956hilldale@gmail.com if you want one.

Moneyball Here's Soderbergh's script: http://jobpal.com/8nvp. Happy reading.

Moneyball If this page has 500 fans by the time it's noon in LA, you'll have a Soderbergh script to read over the weekend.

Moneyball Thinking about making things interesting...who wants to see the script Soderbergh turned in that started all the Moneyball drama?

Andrew J. Reichart Please tell me there will be good baseball acting in this movie. I can't stand when I watch a baseball movie and the actors look like they haven't ever picked up a ball or a bat before shooting.

Tony Koziol I've heard that Michael Lewis is planning to publish a book called "Underdogs" which would be the Sequel to Moneyball. It supposedly is going to be an update on the players from the Moneyball draft. Anyone know any further details about it? Apparently he had started this project several years ago but one of his latest ...books mentions "Underdogs" as a future book of his so he must be almost done with it.

Moneyball Do you think the Sorkin rewrite will get the blessing of Bud Selig and the MLB?

Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane stays the course through backlash from Moneyball critics - E

To the glee of his adversaries, Billy Beane and the Oakland A's are having a rough go of it these days in the standings and in Hollywood. But the cultural war rooted in Beane's "Moneyball" philosophies was fought and won a long time ago.

Denise Lee I heard Vanity Fair has started working on an article about the whole debacle of this film and the Soderbergh firing. Should be very interesting!

Francesco Rafael Ratson
Is Moneyball using its its tools to get awareness out about people with Cerebral Palsy?
And I think you should ask Madonna to Direct, she does a good job if she has the time

Nathan Katzman i loved the book, honestly one of my favorites ever, but is there really a need to make it into a movie, i just dont see it transition well to the screen, like whos going to play young billy beane, that kid from arizona who wants to enter the ors, or whos going to play daryl strawberry, his son? but if they do make it ...into a movie they have to have joe morgan complaining about billy beane. my last point....why does billy beane get all this criticizism for his style of selecting players, just cause he revolutionized i new style of organizing statistic, really, i genious in that mind, i just wish the a's had more money to keep all our great players! i will definetly see the movie though
