I am always interested in how and why people can respond so completely differently to exactly the same thing. Maybe even more interested than in this particular exercise, which those involved in making these particular sounds together have clearly given a lot of thought, despite limited chops (maybe due more to youth and experience than sheer ... See Moredevotion to and perseverance of any dogma, minimalist or otherwise). But is it almost too self-consciously studied as opposed to disarmingly precious? Twee or not twee--
is that the question?
