So much to give thanks for at MCC these days:
- So much wildness in places like the Bob Marshall, Frank Church-River of No Return, Yellowstone, the CMR, and Glacier - basically, all over this incredible Northern Rockies ecosystem that's still so alive and wild;
- Inspiring crew leaders who are committed to the quality of... their corpsmembers' experience and to making a lasting difference for our public lands;
- Corps members who wake up every day ready to give themselves fully to the task at hand, and to their fellow corps members;
- An incredible staff that works everyday to make the MCC experience authentic and powerful, and who are just a lot of fun to be with;
- Sharp pulaskis, reliable rigs, good lessons in PLACE, and plenty of coffee;
Happy Thanksgiving y'all,
Jono

Montana Conservation Corps Aimee is thankful that she controls the office chocolate supply, and therefore the mood of the office. Jesse is thankful for seasonal work. Wendy is thankful for so many meetings? Doug is thankful that the rest of the office is leaving early today and that he will finally be able to do some work! Jen is thankful that n...o matter how hard Doug tries, he can never beat her to the last cup of coffee. How about you?

Sherri Welch Henckel Hey there MCC folks. I was on a crew back in 94-95, and now own a business with my husband. We have been having a hard time recruiting employees and thought with the end of your field season here, maybe some of you might want jobs. We own a business called Montana Tower; we are in need of some tech savvy folks to cl...imb towers. Pay starts at $15+ DOE. We would love to put together a team of hard working folks and as a MCC alumnus, I KNOW you are. Send me a message for more info. Thanks, Sherri

Montana Conservation Corps Congratulations to our crew leaders on a season of amazing accomplishments. Oh, the place you'll go!

Tricia Wilson great picture!

Montana Conservation Corps Yep, it's Monday. Yep, the snow is still just as thick!

Jono McKinney Our crew leaders are still at it this week - weatherizing homes in Bozeman and Billings, doing wildfire fuels reduction on Wild Horse Island on Flathead Lake, and finishing up some trail work at lower elevations in Idaho. And get this, 2 feet of snow in Bozeman today - it's time to hang up our pulaskis for the winter.
