Montrail The last outsole traction is designed to excel on hard, flat surfaces. The Deflecting Lugs are for cushioning and Digging Lugs at perimeter provide traction for up– and downhill running. This is another Spring 2010 shoe, the Rockridge.

Montrail This outsole traction is designed to excel on 2. Technical trails. The Big, Angled Blades at the forefoot dig deep for grip on loose or muddy terrain while the Digging Lugs provide grip on mud, gravel and other loose surfaces. This tread is found on the Mountain Masochist and Streak.
