I've been lucky enough to play with Perri's (Shaktipaj) upcoming tutorial Rose of Sharon Pendant.
Perri repeatedly made the comment "you can plop this baby into any setting".
Ummm, okay - how about a clasp? I needed a new clasp for my European
4 in1 bracelet, so I made a 20mm square, Story Teller link in 18g
square, and "...plopped" a Rose of Sharon in the center of it
. I love the look! The clasp mechanics need a little tweaking, it's
slightly difficult to fasten, but then I wear this bracelet constantly,
so taking it on and off isn't a major issue, but I will still tweak it.
The piece itself is a mix of 14k gf and fine silver.

Hi Bobbie, this is Sheryl here again, I am still trying to do the OLD fashion chain that you did a freebie tut on etsy for, could it be that I am using to light of gauge? or do you think it might help to flatten the wire some? they just dont stay together and what is insane is I have several original ones from the turn... of the century to look at clear up into the 50's or so, ..... so its not like i dont have one in hand to look at and I have wire wrapped for some time but for some reason I just can NOT get this one to work for me..i do expert level cab's all the time, no problem but I will admit, I have trouble making chains of any kind and I really want to add that final touch of completeness to my work.... any thouhts.
