       Some managers take their executive assistants out for lunch and flowers in town during Administrative Professionals Day -- I took mine to lunch in the Dismal Swamp with the flowers being water lillies.     • This year is the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Midway -- Regarded as a critical turning point in the Pacific during World War II, the Battle of Midway took place June 4-7, 1942. Midway airfield was tightly packed with 105 land-based Navy, Marine Corps, and Army air forces search and combat planes, providing critical support to the battle plan. ^PS
    • There is a Tornado warning until 2:45 p.m. for Nelson County Va. and strong storms are beginning to pop up in other portions of Central Virginia. Please stay tuned to local media and take cover should a storm come near you. ^PB
    • There is a Tornado Watch until 9 p.m. tonight for Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Hampton, York County, Poquoson, Williamsburg, Gloucester and Mathews counties, and the surrounding areas. A watch is issued by th...e National Weather Service when conditions are favorable for the development of tornadoes in and close to the watch area.
