Music with a Message!
The final S.E.E. NC State podcast for 2009 will be a celebration of the music featured so far in the series.
If you have subscribed to the University Sustainability Office on iTunesU and have listened to each of the podcasts, you know that music is an important part of the series.
From the opening ...notes of "London Calling" for the first podcast, to our exclusive interview with John Bell from Widespread Panic, music has helped shape each broadcast. Each song was selected either because of it's message at the time of the artist's writing or it's potential message at the time the podcast was released.
We are starting a new tradition with this podcast as we will highlight music with a message in our special holiday edition.
We will be back on our regular schedule (every other Friday at 10am) starting January 15th.

NC State Sustainability Office
Natasha Herting, a senior in Industrial Engineering at NC State University and Chair of the Sustainability Commission for Student Governement, will join us to discuss her efforts while an undergrad.
As a student senator, Natasha was a key writer of the first sustainability bill passed by Student Government. Currently, ...she heads up a commission of some of the most action-oriented sustainability-minded students. In the past year the commission has launched the Campus Farmer's Market, PackPulse, the Think Outside the Brick Competition and is currently working on a Bike Share program that would be called WolfWheels. Natasha graduates in December and currently works with Burt's Bees.

Tracy Dixon, Director of Sustainability for NC State University, will be joining us on a special day this week: Wednesday, November 25th.
We discuss her interest in sustainability from a young age, what sustainability means to the future of NC State and more.
Tracy holds a duel masters in Public Administration and Natur...al Resources from NC State. She came to the University Sustainability Office from Advanced Energy, where she was a Project Manager. Prior to that position, she held jobs with the North Carolina Department of Environmental and Natural Resources and the state Legislature.
