North Kansas City Schools Staley and Winnetonka teams competed at the Boys State Swimming & Diving meet this past weekend. Staley finished 12th out of 65 teams and had top 10 finishes from: Alex McIntyre (100 breastroke, 200 IM) and the 200 Medley Relay (Luke Powers, Alex McIntyre, Michael Schaefer, Joe Kirkpatrick). Winnetonka finished 27th an...d had top 10 finishes from Stephen Ross in the 50 & 100 Free.

North Kansas City Schools Oak Park High School will perform the musical "Cinderella" beginning at 7 p.m. in the Main Theater at the high school. The show runs Nov. 12-13-14. Tickets are $7. Children who attend the show dressed as a prince or princess receive a free photo with a cast member and a gift.
