I am a high school student who is considering going into Offensive Information Systems Security, and I am wondering what kind of schooling I should have, and from where. I am also wondering if I can still work for NSA without haveing any previous military experiance. Lastly, I am wondering what I have to do to get into O.I.S.S..

Two Part Question- I submitted an application with the Cryptologic Access Summer Intern Program (CAP) and I was just inquiring on how long the selection process would encompass, and whether or not if everyone is notified regardless of acceptance or denial?
-I am an Aeronautical Science major, -Does the NSA have any occupations dealing with flight or aerospace?

Janessa Ciardha Hello! I already work for the federal government in the Department of Homeland Sec. I'm interested in moving on from my current position and I was wondering what further background checks the NSA requires?
Edward Larimore I will be submitting my resume through the NSA website soon because I will be graduating in December with my bachelors degree in Computer Science so I was wondering how long does the entire background check process usually take?
Aaron Sebright I am a high school student really looking at the NSA. I want to go to the Air Force acadamey, but I am wondering if that gives any atvantages to any other non military school.

Adam Piland Last time I checked the website for open positions I did not see the Investigators position listed. Do you anticipate having any openings in that position in the near future?

Erica Michel Hello. I'm a high school student and I am incredibly interested in working for the NSA later in life, and I'm planning on majoring in mathematics. I was just wondering if there were any preferred colleges/universities of which the NSA recruites mathematicians from. I've heard that the University of California, Berkley is a popular choice amongst them, but what about MIT?
