Erwin Paul van Beveren I like Evelyn Moriarty idea of meeting with fellow students and grads. However I am from the Richmond Virginia area, so if anyone in the Richmond area is likewise, let me know.

Evelyn I started the Professional Photography not long ago and really enjoying it so far. I live in midtown two blocks from the school, so if any fellow students are interested in meeting up any evening just let me know. Would love to interact with like minds! Evelyn :)

@ Melissa:
I can give you generalities right now: 1) moderate wide angle lens 2) standard lens 3) small telephoto lens 4) a good flash 5) tripod. If you give me more info on what you already have, we can build something more specific. Have a great weekend!

John Franco I am looking to move my photography to the next level, and hope to be able to become self supporting in my (semi-) retirement
Darrell at 7:59am July 6
Hey John,
That sounds like what I want to do. What part of the country are you living in. I am in Georgia myself. I am actually taking both of the NYIP courses at one time because of a mixup on my part, but enjoying them both as I have time.

Shaun Alderman Hi all! I'm a student as well, have been for over a year. Life is so hectic, haven't had time to get into as much as I'd anticipated. Does anyone know if there is a time limit?

Rhonda Howell i am finally getting around to starting my new photography corse its gonna be a rainy 4th i guess its a good day to study

Michelle James i'm a student and love the course...a lot of reading but it's worth it

Shena Luke Hi, just started the professional course and i am loving it. I am trying to start my career in baby photography. You can see some of the pictures that i took of my 3 month old. I am advertising on myspace and facebook, I also do business cards, with pictures on them, so if anyone needs card just let me know.

Amberlee Lewis If I had the money to go to NYIP I would attend in a heartbeat.
Erwin at 4:14pm July 9
And If I may add. At first I thought the money for the course I can use to buy a lens or some other photography item. But honestly the course it self will pay back in the way you learn anything about the craft and how to get the most out of the equipment.
So I also consider the course as the next important accesory beside your camera gear.

I am a fan of the NYIP, have gone through the programs of Professional Photography, Portrait and Digital Photography.
I enjoyed going through these programs and I learned a lot.
I have some of my photos posted in facebook, flickr and photo.net.

Rebeca Herrera Dutari Hello everyone! I just enrolled the professional photography course on NYIP and am excited!... I am waiting for my first lesson. I would like to share some tips and make new friends here too!

Josh Vine Its awesome to see NYI on facebook and twitter now :). I've just got a couple assignments to finish and then I'll have completed their professional course :D

Farouk Cader Hi All, I'm a soon to retire Engineer with a passion for Digital Photography

Suzanne Patton The only complaint I see is the wait to get the picture critique back on CD. Now that they have started the email link to the audio file does that seem to fix the problem. How long is it taking to get the critique back now? I am trying to make sure I have all the facts before I shell out so much money. Thanks.

Jim Correia Hi everyone, I'm a student with NYIP and enjoying the course very much.

Amy Hi everyone. I'm 1/2 way through the Professional Photography program and I'm really enjoying it. I turned 40 in October, and my gift from my husband was a mentor series trek in NY City. Since then, I've started my own portrait business and photo jewelry business. I'd love for you to check out my site www.amysinicin.com. I also have FaceBook pages for Photo Jewelry by Amy and Amy Sinicin Photography and Design. So far my mid-life crisis is going well :)

Rachel
