I've had severe Psoriasis since age 5, and I have had years of pain with this disease (applied for temporary diability at age 21 because I was so covered and in so much pain), and in interviews , I am always very adament to remind people this is no cosmetic disease. I applaud you Deb for bringing this to everyone's attention, and hope that whatever avenue you chose, you continue to raise awareness for every psoriasis sufferer and non sufferer! : )

They want people to go to www.addresspsoriais.com where they can get more information on all the organizations that are participating in the event. By being informed, people are taking their first step. From there they can find a dermatologist that can diagnose their psoriasis and come up with a treatment plan that will work for them. About 6 years ago, I helped to organize a NPF support group in Houston. A woman began cryng at the first meeting. She said she thought she was the only one that had what she had. I don't want to hear that again. Spread the word and we can help more and more people!
