Brenda Iaquinto I was deeply moved as I have heard the audio on your website of Dawson, and then his memorial and all .... Thnks so much. My dad benefitted when he was a chaplains asst. in the Korean conflict. God bless you deeply, and may all things work for good!!!

My experience was very similar to Gretcher's.
Their strategies for "discipleship" were manipulation through guilt, feigned friendship, group think, biblical judo, and extrabiblical management techniques.
The Navigators need to rethink who they are.

Gretcher Synballo
I am sorry I ever became involved with that dangerous and
very un-Christlike group of people in that town. I had phone calls from
my 'mentor' Jim and several of his cronies at all hours of the night.
They would not leave me alone at work. They demanded I quit school
and move in to a Navigator dormitory to become a full-...time Navigator, give
portions of my paychecks to forward recruitment, my only job being to
recruit more Navigators. It was everyone's only job. The police
were the only thing that stopped the downward spiral of virtual human slavery I
endured for six months. I sincerely hope the rest of you are not this
way. I have heard you were a good organization, but if your methods
mirror those of the Navigators in Clarksville/Fort Campbell area, then I
wouldn't want to stand in your shoes before God.

Gretcher Synballo I don't know what the Navigators are like worldwide, so I won't speak concerning them. But in Clarksville, TN, they are an aggressive and oppressive religious regime which preys on the weak and easily manipulated, particularly at Fort Campbell and Austin Peay State University, to include breaking into disciples' homes... at odd hours of the night to enforce scripture memorization practices, stalking, harassment at work, threats of physical violence if total submissive compliance is refused, cult-like manipulation of its own 'disciples' by using guilt and aggressive confrontation as its strongest tool, and a deeply sadistic view of the worth of the human animal.

The Navigators New medicine for an old problem. Discipling for Development, in Uganda, has seen many come to Christ because they see God's power at work in their midst. http://bit.ly/bsFo5v

Matthew Shane Siron Hi all- this is Shane from International Ministry Travel. Many of you work with Sandy from my office. So glad to be in a blessed place like Colorado Springs! Thank you for your support, around the world, for Christ.

Joyce Davidson Blum I am a true second generation Navigator. My parents, Cec and Thelma Davidson, long time Nav staff raised my brother and sisters and me in the solid foundation laid by Dawson Trotman - prayer, Bible study, fellowship and witnessing. That foundation has helped me in my current job as a principal of Cascade Christian Pu...yallup Elementary School in Puyallup, Washington. I love the Navs and what they have done and are currently doing. For those of you who know my parents, they are both doing well - Dad is 93 and Mom is 88 - currently living in Vancouver, Washington.

Gary AndMonique Greer Jim Downing told me you were going to post/publish an article on Morena. Where can I find it?
