What is J2M? - an experiential, multi-ethnic immersion bus trip where we discuss race and the church.
Who is going? - fun people! Students, adults, lay people and pastors are all encouraged to join us.
Who is sponsoring? - the ECC Central Conference (with support from North Park T...heological Seminary).
What happens? - we create a safe space and time to talk about race realities in North America, visit museums & churches, listen to guest speakers/video presentations, worship together, get stretched & wrestle with complex issues. We’ll explore portions of the African-American, Asian-American, Native American and Latino/a stories and reflect and grow in partnership together.
Why go? - you will grow in your awareness of race/justice issues, be challenged and encouraged in your faith, enjoy great conversations & make lasting friendships, and be part of the solution!
