News 12 Long Island Update: The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning (very rare for us) starting noon Saturday for heavy snow (6-12 inches, but that may be adjusted) and, just as important, strong winds of 30 to 50 mph, which will reduce visibility to near zero at times and cause considerable blowing and drifting. The he...aviest of the snow will be mid afternoon Saturday through early morning Sunday. --Bill Korbel

It doesnt matter if mom is doing it all alone. Does she have a brain? I have 4 kids and even though it is a pain sometimes taking all the kids in the store, NEVER once did i ever leave the kids in the car. and my oldest is 15 and she still needs to come in with me.

Best wishes to the Shinnecock Native Americans. Should the tribe finally get their wish to open the long awaited casinos, I pray that the money generated truly does go towards building the infrastructure of the reservation, creating jobs and better quality of life oppportunities long denied to them. My comments above display my feelings. Yes 1,000 times, provided that the revenue does more than provide a place of entertainment. The revenue must be shared with the members of the reservation in an equitable manner.

It costs as much to drive as it does to hop onto mass trasnsit. Atleast I know most of the money I spend driving is going back into my car then into some paper pushing suit.
