They still charge things like maintenance, usage, or whatever fee even when you are not using the account and if you cancel it then it hurts you credit score. Maybe we should do away with credit reporting operations all together - they are the major source of identity theft anyway.

Maybe or maybe not, but it is certainly widely misunderstood. And I'm no financial guru. I've never played the market, but I do know that all it does is measure sentiment. An earnings report comes out that shows a company made money and ... the market rallies. That doesn't indiocate a healthy economy, though.
