Kalli Willson I am creating a disaster response plan for my church in anticipation of this year's upcoming flooding. Additionally, I am volunteering to teach First Aid and CPR to our community members to help them be more prepared in an emergency.
Next Adventure We asked what you've done to deserve a $50 gift cert, and responses were overwhelming! We added 2 more $25 gifts because we have such amazing customers. Congrats go to Drea Rose Frost for many things (Meals on Wheels, cancer awareness, and Red Cross volunteering), and runner-ups Isaac Lopez (getting friends into backpacking) and Jennifer Anderson (teaching kids nature). Hard choice with such Amazing Customers!
Next Adventure Congrats Andy Maser and crew for organizing the 350 paddle on the Willamette River. Check out the video below as they spread the significance of 350 parts per million of CO2 and raise awareness of climate change. Plus it just looks like a great day to be on the water!

On October 24th, 2009, 200 paddlesports enthusiasts got together on the Willamette River in Portland to participate in the 350.org International Day of Climate Action. Our way of showing support: form a giant floating 350.
Next Adventure Nice job Luke Spencer on the Today Show! If anyone missed it the link below should get you right there and see his interview about kayaking Outlet Falls. And then look for the DVD in time for the holidays with the uncut extras! (OK that dvd part might not be true.)
