STS Motorsports, Inc. was founded in 2005 by Rob Marsden, and was started as a grass roots movement to reopen the closed North Wilkesboro Speedway which was closed nine years prior.

Corky Corcoran I was a camera-person for ESPNs NASCAR coverage for over 20 years. I came to over 40 races at North Wilksboro. It was one of my favorite tracks to come to. I always enjoyed visiting my friend Clay Call, and who could ever forget the partys at Benny Parson's old home place. I am really excited that the track will se...e action next year. I will look forward to comming there to watch a race and remember old times.

Justin Shew I grew up right across the street from the track and still live like three mins. from tha track and have always wanted to work there so if there is any way I could get a job it would be a dream come true. Gary Lewallen says Kudo's goes to Alton and his staff for allowing Red Dirt Rising, Matt Dylan (and the Midnight Steel Band) to make the music video at the track.
