Odd that no one mentions Anna Deavere Smith, who should get an award for her comic stunts when she drank NJ’s meds. She can handle anything! But ya know who this woman is, aside from being a Tony Award & Pulitzer Prize nominee and being awarded the McArthur? As an actor, she done everything from Shakespeare to a Caj...un voodoo woman. She’s been in a bucket load of films and TV shows, and is a writer, mostly documentary which sticks up for the disenfranchised. She has a Doctorate, is a professor of drama (some years at Stanford) and has sixteen honorary doctorates. And, by gosh, she’s still funny as hell. One more reason to love that show!!Read More
