Steve Sarjola I just finished listening to podcast #67 Protein Promises and you mentioned that a person should take 1 gram of protein per body pound or 2 grams per kg. Being I weigh 180 that would mean I should take 180 grams of protein per day and if so that would seem really high considering with some research I found that I shoul...d be getting 56 grams per day even if I live an active life style. But the text I just looked at said to take (males aged 31 to 50) 0.8 grams per kg. If I'm doing the math correctly this is half of what you recommend. Help!
