More Description: Nov 13 in evening, Nov 14 all day
First Peoples Fund has created an Art Marketing and Professional Development Training specifically designed with Native artists in mind. This comprehensive, hands-on training experience will enhance the artists business skills set and prepare them for their journey toward becoming successful artist entrepreneurs. Our goal is to enable Native artists to make a living from their art through sales, allowing them to sustain themselves, their families and their communities.

This one-of-a-kind resource takes Native artists on a journey that begins by helping artists express their values and vision that will ultimately become the principle foundation of their business. A series of self-assessment tools helps the artist determine where they are in terms of their art marketing, business and financial management skills, while planning and budgeting tools help develop and enhance their skills set. Intensive pricing and marketing sessions are included along with a sample business plan and a breadth of resources.
