I may even get over there to try it in 2010. Wouldn't it be cool if you could ride down the O & E Canal to Bolivar , take ...the Sandy- Beaver Canal over to Pittsburgh, ride the Allegheny Gap Passage Trail down to the C & O Canal Trail in Cumberland and take it down to DC.. ....Probably not in my lifetime but maybe someday. It doesn't hurt to dream, Right? Heres to many miles in the saddle on the trail in 010! FreddY
Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition Richard Howe was an engineer for the Ohio & Erie Canal. To save his house, we moved it down the street to a new location and are currently renovating it for offices. We're trying to keep several parts of it historically accurate, so it'll be really cool when we're done!

Connie Trischan I love living on the canal there's always something to watch. The other day I had five deer in my yard, it was amazing to see them swim to the other side!
It's been a long few weeks, packing up the old office, moving into the new one, getting everything set up while the house was still getting the finishing touches put on it, and then having our dedication and our open house. Whew...
