Leora What about lyrics? Often a big part about why I like a song has to do with the lyrics. Do you take this into account?

Joshua

Joshua What response to Pandora seems to be saying is that we as a country are unhappy with the current state of music on the mainstream radio. Except of course for the music played on NPR, that's always awesome.

David Beigel

David Beigel I really love how Pandora introduces me to new music or music I have yet to hear based on what I told it I like. While not always exactly in tune with my preferance it does a phenominal job and a simple thumbs dow will redirect it back on track. Very cool!

I really like Pandora's concept but not sure they suggested choices are as good or as stretched as they should be. Discussed this with the founder years ago and am glad they have continued to grow and evolve.

Jack tells it like it is. How am i supposed to know how it is without him? Can't have a news roundtable without your news analyst.

Magnus Westergren

Magnus Westergren Your guests are rude and absurd, thank heavens Steve came on to speak some sense. The guests seem to have forgotten that it costs a lot of money to make news, "news blogs" do not make news, they regurgitate it, with what ever spin they want to throw on it.

On Point Radio HR1: Rupert Murdoch vs. Google and the survival of the news business. Do you side with Murdoch? With Google?

Source: www.onpointradio.org
Rupert Murdoch wants to block the search giant from scooping free content from his newspapers. We'll look at the staredown.
Christopher Chevalier

It seems to me that Murdoch missed the boat when he failed to realize the medium was changing, and to invest in the new media. Why sue Google? Google is the new newsprint, an extension of technology. Did he sue the paper manufacturers when his newspaper sales started declining? Is harming Google's bottom line going to increase his companies' ... Read Morereadership? The indisposition of artists to reveal their unfinished works is founded on egoism and perfectionism, things that are at little risk posthumously, whether their spirits persist or not.
The value of Kafka's work, for instance, is by far worth the moral price of defying his artistic bashfulness.

If anything, the proxy publication of Nabokov's ... Read Morefinal, incomplete work is the perfect conclusion for the artist who wrote Pale Fire. I would not be surprised to find he had planned it to go just this way all along, and is now directing events from beyond the veil...

Absolutely not! When family history indicates otherwise, there is no room for regret. Digital mammograms should radically reduce exposure risks and encourage materially improved, early detection.

Scott Klein It seems to me that either Khalid Mohammed is a criminal, subject to the criminal laws of the United States, or he is a combatant subject to the rules of the conduct of war. I do not believe that he is a military combatant, so we have little choice but to try him in civilian court.
