i'm loving the exchange and you both make appealing points of view regarding both parties actions now and in the past. the one compelling asspect is that both parties by in large have failed or are failing the American people. i would love to see these kind of exchanges on a national scale. it would do the body good. thank you both. as for pbs randy, we need more brooksley born's to be heard at the time they are speaking to us. have a great day all.

I do medical billing. Watching this joke of a debate in the House doesn't surprise me. The process some insurance companies use to pay claims is an insult to one's intelligence. If our legislators do not wake up and protect their constituents, it will only get worse; that is, until they are voted out of office.

I'm just filing for a Write In Candidate and voting for myself as US senator of Idaho.... I hope I get other people to declare as write in candidates for whatever positions. More fun for next year for all the people and no fun for politicians, banks, Fed reserve, and corporations.

Premiums will rise because 44 million Americans will be forced to buy health insurance. The health industry did a report and concluded premiums will go up 50% for individuals and 19% for group plans. Insurance companies and pharmaceuticals are salivating at the thought of all this new business. And if the plan is so great - why will they criminalize Americans who don't buy health insurance?

this bill was a win for big insurance, forcing people to buy insurance who cannot even pay for groceries?

I know that the public school systems in parts of the country have gotten worse, but my complaint is at the college level. Many of the colleges and universities have been very liberal for a long time and have been busy at revisionist history. As Jesus said "the truth will set you free". What are the radical liberals afraid of? Obviously its the truth.

It is interesting to see how much money flows to the party in power from outside interest groups. Teddy, FDR, LBJ all tried to do the right things for the American people. End lobbying now.
