Janis Also, they mentioned that there were not oncologist or radiologist on the panel, how stupid.

Janis If you need anyone to help fight this issue in Washington DC or anywhere, I will be there. I was diagnosed at 37 years of age with breast cancer and they told me I will get cancer in the other breast before age 42.

Annette Just heard the news on this Preventive Services Task Force Report about Mammograms - good grief have they gone mad - talk to anyone who has had a diagonosis and they will tell you mammograms are essential to prevention - they find the smallest of small lumps - this with self exams are crucial to finding it fast - KEY to survival..........

Debbie I think there is a problem with someones mind. My daughter, my sister and I all had breast cancer before the age of 50 and we all found lumps during self exams. To say self exams and mamograms are not needed is just crazy. If we would not have had screenings and self exams we would all be dead before we were 50 instead , all 3 of us are now cancer free.

It makes no sense...saving women's lives should be a priority! Mammograms between 40 and 49 are imperative. BSE also empowers women to know their own body and trust their instincts about changes in their bodies.
