The Lady Lions Pink Zone crew was out in full force at the PSU/Eastern Illinois football game on Saturday, October 10th to promote the upcoming ladies basketball game in January.

PBCC staffers Sarah and Kevin helped raise awareness and money prior to the game. Then the duo along with the other beneficiaries were on t...he field during a timeout in the 3rd quarter for a check presentation from last year's Pink Zone!

It's very important. There are so many women and families affected by this disease and it has been proven that the earlier it is detected, the better the prognosis. With Awareness Month it is easy to get the latest detection and treatment information to the public.

Kudos to you for another fantastic event. I'm glad I was able to attend. It was ironic that just as I was getting home that day, I caught the tail end of the news on CBS and one of the award recipient Congresswoman Debbie Schultz was being interviewed and they were talking about the EARLY ACT. We got a detailed explanation of the Act at the conference. See you all next year.

Jeanie Zmijewski Taddeo

Jeanie Zmijewski Taddeo I am just curious- would you still like to hear survival stories even if you have not been helped by the PA Breast Cancer Coalition? I saw a PSA on TV tonite and went to the site and actually signed up to volunteer for many activities and am very excited to do this. My story is very "interesting" and was wondering if there would be any interest in anyone hearing (very out of the "norm") :)
