Turn inland from Highway 1 when you reach Gazos Creek State Beach and follow Gazos Creek Road past the point where it forks with Cloverdale Road. Although there is no formal trail, you can walk a...long the paved road which skirts the bottom edge of Butano State Park. Enjoy your weekend!

Gordon Clark I went on a great hike up Montara Mountain this weekend. We had spectacular views in all directions, including and all the way down the Santa Cruz Mountains. And it's so accessible from the city! Thanks for the tip, POST!
