This should not happen, we will realize this when it is too late. It absolutely infuriates me that they even let this happen, many things such as fundraisers can be done. I know that people get tired of hearing the same dance and song but this will not go away and newer and stronger strains are developing.

It is interesting to see the comments of mostly (if not all) fellow poz people. When I turn this over to my negative (unknowing) friends... they would say absolutely jail! But when do we take responsibility for our own actions. In all cases other than rape... it is noones fault but your own!! Put on that raincoat if you dont know their status (or their last name!!)
Vincent at 9:57am May 20
"How can you have unprotected sex W/O telling that person of what you might be putting them at risk to?" Easily, for some people. We are (often) asked to separate ethics from legalities. But we each bear the responsibility for our own welfare 100% of the time. Personally I can't participate unless I disclose, but that's 'me'. When I became infected... Read More "blame" was not even an issue because, as with many of us, the virus was transmitted between consenting adults aware of the risk. Blame, blame, blame. Stop blaming!

What I would give for a gathering such as this in my part of Florida (Alachua Co) - getting everyone to show up would be another issue altogether unfortunately. When I moved here from DC I had no idea how pervasive a stigma could be or how resistant to education a population could be, even at this point in time. I miss my former social life.
