For those who voted AGAINST the Stupak amendment, please thank them for their vote and urge them weigh in with leadership to make sure this amendment is removed in the conference process.

For those who voted FOR the Stupak amendment, please express dismay that they voted to ban abortion in health care reform and turn back the clock on women’s health.

Given that we elect (or "vote to retain judges") in this state, what are the options for a young woman in a county that has a conservative judiciary. Or worse, a judge up for retention that will make their decision to satisfy their own self-preservation on the court? Additionally, we suddenly have an "on the record" litmus test for elevation in the judiciary hierarchy. An eralier post from PPIL had it right - you cannot mandate healthy family communication. This whole law is bad.
