Just last night, my husband was the guest speaker at a literary soirée in Paris. One of the attendees had already purchased a copy of his book and joined his Facebook page after having read a review of the book on line. On Facebook, she learned of the literary soirée and decided to attend. She bought a second book at the event to leave at her Paris apartment so that others who stay there will learn about the book and hopefully purchase their own copies.

PR in Your Pajamas There are 4 essentials in doing your own PR: A pitch, a media list, photos and testimonials. A pitch introduces what's unique about you and your product or service. A media list contains the contact information of the reporter who can write about you. Photos should help your business make an impact with just a single g...lance. And lastly, testimonials can give you third-party credibility.
