One year my children went to our local public elementary school. The years before and after that they attended The Little School. Upon reflection the year they were in public school was a year of free babysitting. They went to school while we worked. When we all got home we pursued the subjects they were interested in.

They kept asking to return ... Read Moreto TLS. I finally suggested they present their case. They were 8 and 10 at the time. They made a list of pros and cons of both their public school and TLS. The only pro under public school was that they got to buy their lunch once a week.

They went back to The Little School the following year.
